Motorhome camping at Sebastian Inlet State Park is allowed. It offers 51 sites that feature amenities such as a fire ring, grill, picnic tables, trash pickup, electric, hot showers, and WiFi. The maximum length allowed of a campervan here is 40 feet. When you do search for an RV rental in Brevard County, you should also note that this campground has a strict check-in and check-out time. While reservations are not needed, it is recommended.

Pets are allowed at the campground but not on the local beaches. Many of the RV sites available come with stunning views of the inlet and are just a short walk away from the beach. If you want to grab a bite to eat, the park has a small eatery where visitors can grab some snacks or light meals.

Another possible place of interest to take your travel trailer to is Kissimmee Prairie Preserve State Park. Covering 54,000 acres, this state park is considered to be one of the best places in Florida to view the night sky, including the Milky Way, due to there being no light pollution. In addition to this, the state park is known for its vast grasslands and prairies which are home to various types of wildlife, such as owls and sparrows.

About an hour away from the park in Port Canaveral is the Cape Canaveral Lighthouse. Built in 1848, the lighthouse was designed to help prevent ships from crashing into the shoals that lined the coast. Tours are available of this historic structure although reservations need to be made in advance. Keep in mind there is a steep climb to the top, and there are strict clothing rules to help prevent injuries, such as no flip flops.

The South Jetty only has a short 60 yd (55m) pier out from the beach, but it has a long 213 yd (195m) rocky section that includes the pier that you could fish from. If you had 25 people on the short pier section here, it would be quite crowded.

I cannot find a list of rules for the pier, but the following is probably in effect as is true at most Florida state parks. There is not much room here, so sit on a cooler or upside down 5 gallon bucket instead of bringing a chair.
